Lughnasadh Sound Bath: A Celebration of Gratitude, Harvest & New Beginnings
Saturday, August 1
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM local time
About
As summer begins its gentle transition towards autumn, we arrive at Lughnasadh (Lammas), the first harvest festival in the Celtic calendar.
Traditionally, this was a time for communities to gather, celebrate the abundance of the land, give thanks for all that had been received, and acknowledge the cycles of growth, change and renewal. It was also a moment to pause before the quieter months ahead, reflecting on what has flourished and what is ready to be released.
You are warmly invited to join me for an evening of reflection, gratitude and deep relaxation through the healing vibrations of sound.
Together we will create a peaceful space to:
- Honour the abundance already present in our lives, however great or small.
- Feel our gratitude for the experiences, relationships and lessons that have nourished us this year.
- Reflect on what we are ready to gently let go of as the seasons begin to change.
- Welcome the next chapter with openness, intention and trust.
The evening will include a short guided meditation inspired by the spirit of Lughnasadh, followed by an immersive sound bath using Himalayan singing bowls, koshi wind chimes, my voice and other therapeutic instruments.
Allow the sounds to support you in settling the mind, calming the nervous system and creating space for your own ‘unfurling’. There is nothing you need to do—simply rest, receive and allow yourself to be held by the sounds.
This gathering is open to everyone, who simply feels called to spend an evening unwinding and reconnecting with yourself, through this seasonal transition.
There will be chairs available for anyone that would prefer a seated experience.
Sound Healing sessions are generally not advised for people in their 1st trimester of pregnancy, for people with heart conditions, and those with epilepsy.
Please do get in touch if you would like to discuss these contra- indications with me, or if you have any other questions.
