Wild Hearth · Lughnasadh Gathering
Saturday, August 1
5:00 PM - 10:00 PM local time
About
Our ancestors marked this turning of the year as the land ripens into the first Harvest— as Lughnasadh, in the Celtic tradition, named for the god Lugh: light-bringer, trickster, warrior, and jack-of-all-trades. It falls at the midpoint between the fullness of high summer and the turn toward autumn — a time to look at what's been gathered this year, and what's worth carrying forward.
An evening of music, fire, story, and shared reflection. Expect a co-created ritual drawing on the myth of Lugh and the turning of the wheel, an ecsatatic dance, shared food, and time by the fire.
All welcome. (Free for those 14 years old and below).
What to expect · Cacao · DJ set from Ricochet Colours · Proto-Celtic Sound Journey from Jo Miles · Lughnasadh ceremony · Live music from Amy Bisazza around the fire as night falls · Story telling on the season.
Time to reconnect, rest, and be on the land.
The Warren An incredible events space on a gorgeous piece of land near Upton Noble, Frome — woods, a yurt, an open fire space.
Tickets are priced to keep the gathering both accessible and sustainable. If £15 genuinely isn't within reach, message us at wildhearthgatherings@gmail.com and we'll find a way — no forms, just a quick conversation.

A dish to share for the 6pm food (something simple — a salad, a loaf, a pot of something warm; enough for 4–6) · Your own plate, bowl, cup and cutlery (we keep it low-waste) · Warm layers for after dark — it cools fast once the sun drops · A torch or head-torch (the site is unlit beyond the fire) · A blanket or cushion to sit on · A water bottle · Optional: a story, poem, song or offering for the fireside.
Please lift share for this one,
Please don't bring
Extra vehicles · Alcohol · Dogs (this is a working land with resident animals) · Single-use anything

Parking
This bit is massively important!
Parking on site is REALLY limited. If you're coming as a group, please travel in one car — we can't guarantee a space for every vehicle if groups arrive separately.
If you're planning to leave early, let us know in advance, as we can't promise a parking space will be free before the end of the night. Prefer not to drive alone or need a lift? Join the lift sharing group at:

When you arrive, park in the car park as directed; full directions in the confirmation email.
Children
Family-friendly. Children and teens are warmly welcome — accompanied throughout by a parent or carer.
Tickets — sliding scale
Tiers from £15 to £35 so that money is never the reason someone misses the gathering. Pay what feels right. No one turned away for lack of funds. If even the lowest tier is too much, drop us a line at wildhearthgatherings@gmail.com.
