Sunday 2nd August - Ecstatic Dance + Cacao Circle OUTSIDE!!

✬ Join us as we gather in the beautiful Peak District to share cacao and dance amongst the plants and trees, the birds and the beasts! ✬

✬ There's something so primal, sensual and organic about dancing outside, and the enchanted silver birches of Lawrencefield are such a magical location ✬ I provide the headsets and the music ✬ All you need is yourself, layers of clothing (you might get really warm while dancing but quite chilly afterwards), something to drink, snacks and a mat to sit/put your stuff on ✬

✬ We'll start with some breathing and grounding, set up an altar together to honour the space and the elements, drink cacao and set our intentions then move into dancing ✬ We dance to an eclectic mix of world beats and genres ✬ You're free to move how and as you like; no judgement and no expectations ✬ No previous experience necessary, everyone is welcome ✬ Cacao is optional, you can drink tea instead if it's not your thing! ✬

✬ I set up a WhatsApp group for each dance to help with logistics/lift shares etc. ✬ The link will be on your confirmation email - please join if you can! ✬

**Schedule (ish): **

• 10-10.15am: Meet at Surprise View carpark https://maps.app.goo.gl/JVy7ecTDUwrH2Dqn7 . I'll be in the yellow van!
• 10.15am: Walk down to the woods together. We will leave the carpark at 10.15 exactly so please make sure you arrive with time to park.
• 10.30-11.30am: Opening circle, nature altar creation, cacao circle and meditiation
• 11.30-1pm: Ecstatic dance jouney
• 1-1.30pm: Closing circle and chill time. Feel free to bring a picnic to eat afterwards.

**Booking, Refunds and Cancellations: **

• There are limited spaces for the outdoor dances so it's best to book in advance.
• If you can no longer make it, please let me know asap so that someone on the waitlist can take your place.
• Any ticket cancellations up to 24hrs before the event can be transferred to another dance. There are no refunds.
• There are no transfers for dances cancelled within 24hrs of the event.

Guidelines:

• Be present: No phones / photos / video during our time together - give yourself the gift of switching off!
• Non-verbal space: Keep the dance journey non-chatty to allow a deeper inner connection. Sounding is welcome, but please no talking during the dance. This includes if you decide to take time out from the dance and sit back down - please keep the container sacred.
• **No drugs/alcohol/other plant medicines: ** Ecstatic Dance is a mindful, sober event. Please refrain from _all _substances before and during the event. This includes any plant medicine aside from cacao.
• Respect: the land that we dance on - no littering/tissues, other people's space and freedom of expression.
• Awareness: Some people find that they want to chat afterwards, whereas others prefer to stay in a more meditative space - please look after your own needs.
• Ticks: check yourself carefully afterwards (and for the next few days) for these sneaky bugs.
