About
Pachamama Rising – Echoes of the Ancestors
An immersive full day shamanic journey taking place on August 8th, co-facilitated by two Brazilian medicine women, Kyara Mensie and Minah Schama.
This is a deeply held ceremonial space of remembrance, healing, and reconnection with the ancestral and natural worlds. Through traditional ritual practices, sacred plant medicine ceremony, song, drumming, prayer, and earth-based rituals, we open a container for inner journeying, release, and realignment with the wisdom of the body, spirit, and Earth.
Minah is the daughter of Shaman XamAM Alba Maria from the Terra Mirim community in Brazil and joins us in the UK as part of her wider European journey sharing ancestral wisdom and ceremonial practice.
Programme Structure
Participants are invited for an early rising and are asked to arrive no later than 6:30am on August 8th, to settle into the land and be ready to start the ritual at 8am.
We begin early and welcome you into the field of the sacred medicines with a morning Sweat Lodge to cleanse, purify, ground ourselves and come into shared presence. We will then have a short break for refreshments before we gather to commune with the Mother Medicine deepening the inner work, accompanied by music, singing, dance and shamanic drumming throughout the day.
As part of this ceremonial offering, we also include traditional cleansing rituals and prayer practices with tobacco and rapé (a sacred Amazonian snuff used in indigenous lineages). We commune throughout the day with the Mother.
The ceremony ends with shared food in community, followed by an integration circle to reflect, share, and ground the experience.
NOTE: You are welcome to go home or camp for the night. You are also welcome to camp the night before and wake up in the land. You will be guided through these options after your booking process is complete. Please leave your email and phone number when booking your apace.
